So fun to be in Nashville
We drove around.
Vanderbuilt University
Beautiful campus right in the city.
And then drove downtown past the
Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
The famous picture of the Legends!
We ate some hottie chicken 😳 for supper and peach cobbler
And visited the Grand Ole Opry
The next morning we toured
The Ryman Auditorium
The Mother Church of Country Music
The Loretta Lynn statue
Just gorgeous!
Who knew that Nashville has
a replica of The Acropolis?!
It is huge.
Then off to the Smoky Mountains
Everyday we did a different hike!
We had pouring rain on this day
So much for the hair!
So many majestic waterfalls.
And in the evening we enjoyed
the Bill Gaither Family Fest
A lot of very talented singers.
Amazing!
And wonderful variety!
More fabulous hikes.
On our drive back to Nashville we stopped at a rest stop.
And so did Chris & Shanda Hurt and Brittany Green.
So very fun to run into them!
We dropped off Jan & Terry at the airport
and toured some more
The country Music Hall of Fame.
It was fun. A definite walk down memory lane!
