Wyoming Part 1

We braved it and flew to Jackson Hole Wyoming.

Believe it or not, we felt totally safe.

It is gorgeous country.  The Grand Tetons are majestic.
As close to Banff's mountains as you're ever going to see.

The mornings are fairly cool....

The day after we arrived we went to Yellowstone National Park.
On the way we hit a Bear Jam, watching these twin 3 year old grizzlies.
Mama bear is Grizzly 399.
I guess she is famous!

Then we arrived at the park.

And saw bison, lots of bison

 And elk!

The incredible Emerald Spring in the Norris Back Geyser Basin

And of course, Old Faithful.

Back at our fabulous house.

Elwood, Bryan and Luke take down a dead tree.

Then Ryan & Karin arrived!

Taking all the kids to see the horses!

You can tell it was not busy

And we enjoyed a bit of time in Jackson.
Loved their antler arcs at the town center
And we loved Moo's ice cream.
Yummy!

And then Jeff & Chandra arrived!

the boys first morning.
They had lots of catching up to do.

So very good to be together.

Half the crew went on a long, long hike.

The rest of us played in the very cold water.

And had a picnic.

The hikers, cooling down and recovering from the hike.

We all hiked some more.

And enjoyed being in God's incredible world.

Sometimes the boys just wanted to stay
 home and play lego.

Gorgeous!
