Prague

Getting organized to leave Malenovice by train

Again, gorgeous countryside

After settling into our hotel we went out for dinner.
Down these stairs

To this deep cavern restaurant

With lots of animals all around us

And stone on the walls and ceiling.

And the order came..... lots of meat.

We walked a bit at night to see the beauty of the city in the evening

Looking down the Vitava River

the beginning of the Charles Bridge, built in 1357,

which is lined with statues of Catholic saints

The Prague Castle at night

The next day started with Rae serving
Connor his first cup of coffee

By the look on his face, it might be the last cup of coffee
for quite awhile! And to be honest, it was only a sip of coffee!

Such quaint streets with unusual buildings

We also did some climbing that day.  630 steps to here.
Uff da!

But beautiful view...
the cathedral spires

The city spreading out before us.

Sunlight barely makes it to the streets

The Old City Gate

Our grandkids would have loved this store.

The canals add so much beauty

We stopped for some delicious Raspberry tea

The photo from another angle was not quite as flattering.

Elwood visiting with a local

I love the outside markets

And Warsaw Square

The Old city gate

Old Town Square, the heart of Prague

And seen from the top of the Town Hall with the famous astronomical clock.

The

Church of St. Nicholas with the statue of John Hess

And of course in the square there are always
unusual performers

Thanks team.
It was great.

Saying goodbye to Rae as he heads off to Sweden.

And we say goodbye to 'Praha'

Beautiful country

We had a stop in Philadelphia on the way home.
Some great pictures and history in their airport.

A great trip.
