Merry Christmas Eve-2!

The Christmas Eve service we attended did not have a Candlelight service
(Even though it was our favorite Christmas Eve service ever!)
So we did our own.
We sang a few carols and then sang Silent Night while we lit the candles.
Then Grampa quoted the Christmas story.
It was beautiful.

Silent Night,

Holy Night,

All is calm,

All is bright

Round yon Virgin, Mother and Child

Holy Infant so tender and mild

Sleep in Heavenly Peace,
Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

Then it was time for the presents!

Excitement built

Anticipation.

What is it?

Yay!

The cousins chose the Icelandic tradition of giving a book
on Christmas Eve. The cousins draw names and then
gave book/s & their favorite candy.

Magical!
 For me?

What could it be?

I can hardly wait!

 Oh Yay!

So fun!

I had made PJ pants for each of the grandkids
 in the family's college logo

I'm all done!
