Al & Emma picked us up in Corpus Christie
and we drove to South Padre Island.
The sand castles were amazing.
The raging gulf while we had a beautiful walk on the sand.
A fabulous walk out on the laguna on their incredible boardwalks.
We saw so many different kinds of birds ~ great blue herons, great egrets,
lesser bitterns, teals and flamingos plus crabs and foliage.
A great, relaxing walk.
This sea turtle is huge and enjoyed putting on a show for us.
Why did he turn right when we took the picture.
Thankfully this bad boy was stuffed!
Such a good time with great friends!
