Erik's birthday is today and his wife Yuriko wrote this wonderful tribute.

"My husband turns 31 today!!! Things you don't know about him:
1) he's terrified of birds
2) he's got the most caring, humble & generous soul
3) he LOVES Arby's & Dr Pepper
4) he's the backbone to my business (for reals)
5) he's just like his father which is a very very very good thing
6) he got a 'genius' score on his SAT's (he's brilliant)
7) Starbucks & being in his vintage 1976 ski Nautique boat is his happy place
8) he never gets angry or mad. Never ever ever...
9) Erik is joyful and optimistic always. So much that it's annoying..
10) Erik goes gaga anytime he sees a Newfoundland dog on the street
11) Erik used to be an all star rock climber back in his high school glory days
12) a perfect day for Erik would be to have his family & friends with him on the lake-to BBQ & play guitar around a campfire & for endless hours of relaxation & reading
13) he writes is all CAPS all the time
14) he loves Harry Potter & LOTR
15) he is undoubtably the most noble & trustworthy person you'd ever meet.
