The Christmas Week

" Glory to God in the Highest and on earth, peace, good will to all men."

"Joy to the World, the Lord has come. Let Earth Receive her King!"

"Happy Birthday baby Jesus"
Erik & Yuriko arrived on Christmas Eve afternoon. We all attended the 4:30 Christmas Eve Service. Above are the grandkids there. Yes, yes Secily does have her still around her waist!
It was a long service for them!!! :)
But so wonderful to put first why we celebrate Christmas.
We are so grateful Christ came to earth for each one of us.
After dinner and a cake for Baby Jesus, we exchanged our gifts to each other.
The best gift is being together!

Abby loved her new puppet!
And Grampa loved his new Roper Boots!!
I made lefsa.
Hadn't made it for many years but we all sure enjoyed it.
It'll be back again next year! :)
Krumkakers are standard Christmas fare too.
As is Icelandic Vinertarta,except I didn't take a picture.
Next year!! :)
