Florida

Ryan & Karin gave us two passes to fly on Southwest. We flew into Tampa and headed to Clearwater Beach, the area where my folks wintered for about 15 years.

The beach is fabulous there and we did spend some time everyday doing this...

The first night we found an orginial Korean Restaurant. It wasn't quite as good as Shin's Korea House in Regina but very close. Bulgoki and Bi Bim Bob were ordered. It is always a good sign when we are the only caucasians in the restaurant.

We rented a car, a Prius. We had a lot of fun driving the hybrid and getting incredible gas mileage.

We drove down to Naples and spent two nights there. We also drove through the everglades and went on an airboat through the everglades. We saw the mangrove trees, pelicans, racoons, turtles and of course alligators.

We thought we would pass this campground by.... we knew Ken & Helen would never stay here.

We stopped at a restaurant on the water, Alabama Jack's and had crab cakes, conch and red snapper. Delicious!

Another restaurant and it's advertisement.

Annie's beach on the keys, had kite boarders. Amazing!

We did watch the sun set over the gulf. Just beautiful.

"The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament showeth His handiwork." Psalm 19:1

We attended the First Baptist Church of Naples

We visited the Florida Aquarium and enjoyed their colorful display. The ocean is amazing.

The Palms, the sand, the oceans, the waves. A fabulous vacation.

What a great trip...thanks for sharing those amazing photos. Elwood looks quite at peace on the beach.
