Our house part 2

We are so thankful to God for our house. It seems we found the perfect home for us. It is right on the end of a cul-de-sac and right next to a park so from just about every window in the house, we look out and see only trees. We feel like we live out in the country not in the Metroplex of 5 million. It is such a great answer to our prayers.

This picture is looking out our patio doors.

And standing by the pool:

Similar to Castle Road, this house has great built-ins. Unpacking was a breeze! (Thanks to Bryan, Eraina, Jeff, Chandra, Karin & Ryan)

I have told some of you about our red kitchen cabinets. They fit in perfectly to the house.

A fairly unique kitchen sink.

And a chalk board pantry door. The grandkids will love that! It reminded our kids of the much loved chalk board at Grandpa & Grandma Larson's!

A movable green island.

We swam today... okay the water was a bit cold but it was fun, fun, fun...

I wasn't sure if this was good idea to show you our home or not. I still want many to come and visit and see it and us in person! So whenever you can come on down. Y'all are sure welcome!

We also feel it is such an answer to prayer that we are living here now. Just the other day I was shopping and ran into Karin. How fun is that! And Jeff & Chandra drop in often as we are so near the church. Yesterday Elwood had lunch with Bryan and I had lunch with Eraina & Lucy. We can see our grandkids often. I truly am thankful and blessed.

I LOVE the red cupboards. Erik and Yuriko just left my new house here in Langenburg, they were here for the weekend and it was so great to have them. They helped my organise my house a little better (they are so good at that). We even celebrated Thanksgiving with a chicken, stuffing, potatoes, carrots and pumpkin pie all made from scratch. It was so great to see them but made me realise how much I miss living in the same city as them. Thanks for the pictures of the house. It sounds and looks like it was meant to be. Congrats!

The house looks great (can't wait to come visit)! Looks like you've made a good move - for lots of good reasons.

(PS. You've already missed a couple feet of snow in Saskatchewan this weekend!)

Happy Thanksgiving :-)
