5. I love being near water, lakes, oceans, pools and streams. It is all wonderful. One would wonder why I live in Saskatchewan. Good thing Regina has Wascana Lake.

6. I love to hear the sound of wind in the trees.

7. I like to plant my flower pots and see them bloom and grow.

8. I love music. I like to sing and play the piano.

9. I like doing a variety of crafts.

10. I don’t like doing the same craft over and over again.

11. I like eating outside on our deck – even for breakfast

12. I don’t even mind the bugs

13. I love being in a boat and feeling the wind on my face.

14. I love to water-ski

15. I love to watch Elwood and our kids doing stuff behind the boat. Soon I will be watching our grandchildren!

16. I love to read interesting well-written novels.

17. I have read all of John Grisham’s books and all of Jeffrey Archer’s books.

18. My favorite book series was the Zion Chronicles by Bodie Thoene

19. My favorite colors are blue, rose and lime green. Not necessarily all together.

20. I like driving the tractor at the farm. It is fun to cut the grass on a nice warm day.

21. I like to work off a list. It is such a wonderful feeling of accomplishment.

24. I like to have nail polish on my toes.

25. I like to keep my fingernails cut short – so I can play the piano.

26. I like watching Jeopardy. Although I don’t know many answers.

27. My favorite movies are: the Sound of Music and My Fair Lady. I also like You’ve got Mail. While You were Sleeping and the American President.

28. I tend to want to do things quickly. It’s good to shave 10 seconds off the prep time or travel time.

29. I like to live in an orderly clean house. Although...

30. I do have some junk drawers. And our garage and basement are not always orderly.

31. I love the prairie sky.

32. I do not like most modern art.

33. I don’t like drivers who try to merge into traffic going far too slow for the traffic.

34. I love unique dishes and kitchen gadgets.

35. I love musical theater. I like to watch it and perform in it.

36. I have been in four productions with the Regina Lyric Light Opera: The Pajama Game, We’ll Meet Again, Bernstein & Lowe, and Oklahoma.

44. I enjoy watching sports – hockey and football the most but I have been to a Dallas Mavericks NBA game and to the Texas Rangers baseball game and the Baltimore Oriels
45. I have been to several NHL games and of course cheer for the Saskatchewan Rough Riders.

48. I like to read the flyers so I know where the best prices are for groceries or any other item we are buying.

50. I know how to sew but I don’t do it very often. I am getting back into it a bit by sewing for our grandchildren.

51. I have a strong sense of justice. It has not always been a positive thing for me.

52. Generally, I am very flexible and can easily adapt to a new situation.

55. I can prepare good healthy meals in a short time

56. I don’t mind cooking for a large group.

57. I love to sit in front of the fire on a cold stormy night. It is so peaceful.

58. I love to see the snow falling when it is calm outside and the flakes are huge.

60. I like to ride my bike. My bike has no speeds. Just two wheels!

61. I have only been in 3 countries. Canada, USA and Mexico.

63. I have felt like I have been to more countries because Elwood and the kids have been to a lot of countries. - I think 25 in total.

64. I am on facebook but I don’t really know what I am doing.

65. I don’t like to be too hot. Only if I am near the water and can swim.

68. I like to eat vegetables from the garden. Even if the carrots have a bit of mud on them.

94. I enjoy speaking to groups of women but…

95. I don’t always enjoy the preparation.

96. I enjoy shopping. It is best when it is with Karin or Darlene.

97. Although we talk as much as we shop.

98. I would like to visit Europe. I would like to go to Sweden and Iceland.

99. I am not good at being on time for birthday greetings. I remember the person on the actual day but don’t always have something sent. I wish I was better at that.
